Serie A's new season has started superbly with plenty of goals and entertainment to wet the appetite for the coming months.

With the international break over, Serie A returns this weekend and there are some sensational players on display.

With only three Champions League places available, there is a lot of competition to qualify and the depth in the league means that sustained quality can be achieved throughout the season.

Here are five of the most exciting players to keep an eye on in the future.

Marek Hamsik has stepped his game up since the departure of Ezequiel Lavezzi and is now the heartbeat of the Partenopei moving forward.

Hamsik is inspiring his teammates with a tremendous desire to drive the side in transition, instigating their trademark counter-attacks.

The Slovakian often scores with powerful shots, such as the opener against Palermo, and is developing a potent partnership with Edinson Cavani, which could see Napoli qualify for next season's Champions League.
