Clint Dempsey is many things to many American soccer fans, from laid-back fisherman to smooth-rhyming rapper.

After Tuesday's victory over Jamaica, add taunting in-game jokester to the list.

In the video above, you can see Dempsey mocking a Jamaican player with a ridiculous face during the first half of the United States' match against Jamaica in CONCACAF Group A semifinal round qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.

In a word, the face is brilliant. See for yourself.

The U.S. won the match 1-0, and Dempsey clearly won a mid-game argument with whoever it was that was bothering him at the time.

The face, which immediately generated plenty of Twitter chatter and became a hit with blogs, was a combination of "As if!" and "Come at me, bro!"

The best view of the face is above in the video. It's our video of the day here at Set Piece. Click here to see a GIF of what now must be known as The Clint Dempsey Face. In the GIF, we get a great view of the bonus Carlos Bocanegra photo-bombing. Everybody wins!

Actually, only the U.S. won Tuesday, and now the Americans are back on top of Group A after last Friday's hiccup in Kingston. Herculez Gomez scored the only goal, a free kick in the 55th minute after the U.S. dominated the first half and hit the woodwork three times.

Now Dempsey heads back to England, where he'll presumably make his debut for new club Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

So what do we think? Will Dempsey buckle down, get serious and cut out the goofy faces? Or is this the start of the Deuce's quadruple threat as a footballer, rapper, fisherman and face-maker?

I choose to believe in the latter scenario.
