QPR defender ignores Chelsea pair in pre-match handshakes
Anton Ferdinand snubbed John Terry and Ashley Cole during the pre-match handshakes between Chelsea and QPR at Loftus Road.
All eyes were on the trio in what was their first encounter since Blues captain Terry was cleared in court of racially abusing Ferdinand, with Cole appearing as a witness for his team-mate.
As the teams lined up for the handshakes Ferdinand ignored Terry's hand and also missed out Cole further down the line.
Terry and Cole were also roundly booed by the home fans every time they touched the ball.
The Premier League confirmed on Friday that the pre-match handshake would go ahead as normal despite reservations from the likes of QPR boss Mark Hughes.
The tradition was abandoned in advance of the previous two encounters between the clubs with court proceedings still pending, but the ritual was carried out by both teams.
