Juventus are planning a raid on the Premier League as they attempt to persuade Manchester United winger Nani and Arsenal's Theo Walcott to join the Italian champions.

The Old Lady are currently on an unbeaten run of 45 league matches and are top of the Serie A table, having won five and drawn one of their opening six league games.

This comes on the back of winning the league title after remaining undefeated for the entire season, however, it was a frustrating summer for manager Antonio Conte who missed out on a number of top targets.

Juventus were linked with Robin van Persie and Luis Suarez but the only striker they could bring to the club was Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner who joined on a season-long loan.

Talksport believes that Conte is already looking towards the January transfer window as he plots how to strengthen the side, paying particular attention to helping the club improve in Europe.

Juventus started their Champions League campaign with a 2-2 draw with reigning champions Chelsea, before once again being held to a draw in a home tie against Shakhtar Donetsk.
One player with plenty of experience in Europe's elite club competition is Manchester United's attacking midfielder Nani. The Portugal international has so far been unable to agree terms on a new contract and was recently hauled off at half-time against Liverpool after a lacklustre display.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson would ideally like to sign Nani to a long term deal but his wage demands may make it difficult and Juventus are playing close attention to his situation at Old Trafford.

This may not be their only raid on the Premier League, with Arsenal attacker Walcott also attracting interest. The England winger is in the final 12 months of his contract and is available to talk to foreign clubs in January.

Should Juventus attempt to sign Walcott then they could decide to wait until the end of the season when his contract expires, or make an offer in January when Arsenal may be forced to accept a cut price deal.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wengerhas suggested that he would like to keep the 23-year-old, but admitted that he may be forced to sell if it looks as though Walcott will not sign.

"At the moment, I still hope to extend his contract so, at the moment, it doesn't affect me," said Wenger when questioned on whether his refusal to sign meant he would not get as much play time. "Of course at some stage ... if, in April, it's not done, you can think it will be difficult to do."
