PSG's Ezequiel Lavezzi Attacks Cooler After Being Subbed (Video)

The freak-out session has a long, storied history in sports. That history grew just a little more crazy Wednesday night.

First, a brief history of the sports freak-out.

It's all over baseball, from Lou Piniella to Don Zimmer and Pedro Martinez to this random minor league manager.

Basketball is no exception. There's the incomparable Bobby Knight and the flamboyantly nutso Dennis Rodman.

It's even in the American version of football. Two words: Woody Hayes.

With all that in mind, our subject today doesn't seem quite so insane. That said, Paris Saint-Germain's Ezequiel Lavezzi had a freak-out session of his own Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League.

Here's some background. Lavezzi, an Argentine international attacking midfielder, joined PSG in a big-money move over the summer. He hasn't played much so far because of injuries, and on Wednesday, he entered PSG's match against Porto as a second-half substitute.

That was in the 73rd minute. By the 80th minute, Lavezzi was back on the touchline after being subbed right back out of the match.

According to Dirty Tackle, PSG manager Carlos Ancelotti said he substituted Lavezzi out because of his injury problems. But that raises a couple of questions.

First, why would Ancelotti put Lavezzi in the match if he was still injured?

Second, if Lavezzi was injured, how come he was able to do this awesome kick on the touchline water cooler?
