Feeling the love: Henry got down with the locals in Rio (Picture: Getty Images)

He may have lost a yard or two of pace, but Thierry Henry showed he’s still got his Va-va-voom as he peacocked his repertoire of skills in a kickabout with locals in Rio de Janeiro.

With the MLS in its close-season and another loan move to Arsenal ruled out, the New York Red Bulls striker is enjoying a holiday in the Brazilian city.

And it was definitely a case of ‘when in Rome…’ for the Gunners legend, who got into the samba vibe with some flashy flicks and utterly needless but impressive foot shuffles at Clube dos Macacos.

The footage shows the 35-year-old hasn’t lost his Gallic charm either, with the Frenchman taking time afterwards to pose for photographs with his adoring audience.

Quizzed on his future career plans during his Brazil sojourn, Henry wasn’t give much away but reportedly suggested he was open to the idea of playing for Rio’s Vasco da Gama one day…
