Sunday sees the 148th North London derby, and it is a fixture that has its fair share of history.

Six times these two have met in cup semi-final, while twice the Gunners have had the unrivalled joy of sealing a league title in the back yard of their most hated rivals.

Our picture gallery starts in 1962 and charts the course of derbies therein, ranging from Ray Kennedy's championship-winning header in 1971 to Tottenham's 5-1 semi-final romp over Arsenal on the way to League Cup glory in 2008.

From Charlie Nicholas and Ossie Ardiles to Gary Doherty and Nicklas Bendtner there have been some great players involved in winning these derbies, and just as many responsible for losing them.

There are also the guys that have represented both sides, with Emmanuel Adebayor following in the footsteps of the likes of Pat Jennings, Sol Campbell and, er, David Bentley.
