According to sources in Italy, Spurs have been keeping tabs on the exciting 21-year-old, who has now indicated he could be ready to leave the Viola this summer.
The Serbia international is currently discussing a new contract with his club, with team coach Vincenzo Montella revealing he's currently feeling unsettled.
He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "He's experiencing an internal conflict.
"He has not looked very serene in recent days. What can I say, there are economic problems which are not easy.
"I'm willing to wait, just as long as he's serene, and today he doesn't look all that serene.
"I'm still convinced that [staying with Fiorentina] would be the best solution for him."
While negotiations are still on-going, Fiorentina are hopeful that doubling the young star's wages will help persuade him to stay, although it's thought they will place a release clause in his new contract.
