5 Premier League Footballers Who Should Release Classic Albums

0 of 5

On Tuesday it was revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo's sister Katia Aveiro has launched a pop career, putting out a single called "Boom Sem Parar" ("Nonstop Boom") this week.

You may also know that Glenn Hoddle has now joined the Bleacher Report team to offer his expertise on the beautiful game. While some may remember him as an England manager and Tottenham midfielder, Hoddle's legacy is surely defined by "Diamond Lights," the '80s-tastic single he released with Chris Waddle in 1987.

These two incredibly tenuous musical links to football got us thinking about the Premiership footballers who could make their mark in pop history with a classic album. Here's what we came up with...

Ashley Young

Federico Macheda

This might be "Second Hand News," but it's no longer a Rumour: Manchester Utd's Federico Macheda has now gone out on loan to Doncaster

Joe Hart

Manchester City keeper Joe Hart may have a shampoo endorsement, but every other member of his band has much more fabulous hair.

Ashley Cole

When Ashley Cole heard his North London club calling with a paltry salary offer in 2006, he rocked the Casbah by switching his allegiance to Chelsea.

Wayne Rooney

To date, Manchester Utd striker Wayne Rooney has received five career red cards and 100 yellows. When his famous temper flairs, he has been known to greet opponents with a dangerous tackle or elbow.

Clearly, it doesn't take much to see the Dark Side of the Roon.
