Mancienne and his Hamburg team-mates are currently embroiled in the Bundesliga's relegation battle, with only three league games remaining.

The Red Shorts are 16th on just 27 points and have a crucial away game with Ausberg coming up on Sunday.

The 26-year-old, who came through Chelsea's academy but left Stamford Bridge in 2011, should be passed fit to start his 10th consecutive league game.
