Mesut Ozil slammed by German newspaper after Arsenal defeat, Gunners fans no more forgiving

Mesut Ozil didn’t enjoy the best of nights in an Arsenal shirt as his side lost 2-0 in their opening Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund.

The German international was substituted after a poor 62 minutes in Germany, alongside Aaron Ramsey, and was given the lowest possible rating by newspaper Bild.

And despite below-par displays for several of the Arsenal players, it seemed to be Ozil who got much of the flack from both the media and Gunners faithful on Twitter.
