The Claim When Newcastle-supporting Sunderland player Jack Colback was on the verge of swapping Wearside for Tyneside, he had his head turned by West Ham, who tried to convince him with a big contract offer. Realising the pressure he was putting himself under by joining his current club's rival, he tried to pull out of the controversial move and join Big Sam's revolution. Sadly for him, the deal was done, but Newcastle apparently sportingly offered West Ham the chance to sign Colback for £5m if they really wanted him. The Truth Who knows?
