Welcome to the 12th installment of our Premier League Team of the Week for the 2014-15 season.

Here we analyse every game and pick out a star XI from the weekend's fixtures, choosing the best players to form a viable formation (in this case, a 4-2-3-1.)

No Liverpool players made the cut after an abysmal showing against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, but three of the Eagles' team did along with representatives from Newcastle, Chelsea and Burnley.

GK: Ben Foster, West Bromwich Albion

Many will have been expecting to see David De Gea here who performed superbly (again) against Arsenal, but we're opting for Ben Foster this week on account of his incredible display at Stamford Bridge.

It's not an exaggeration to suggest that WBA would have lost 10-0 had Foster not been in fine fettle, springing off his line and denying Diego Costa, Eden Hazard, Willian and Oscar multiple times.

Some of his saves were absolutely insane; the most eye-catching was his one-on-one stop against Hazard to open the second half.

RB: Seamus Coleman, Everton

Seamus Coleman's return from an Achilles injury went very well, with the Irishman reminding Goodison Park of his eye-catching traits early on.

He demonstrated no signs of lag or jadedness and trusted his body, tearing up and down the right flank to great effect. West Ham enjoyed spells of dominance, but they found more joy on Tony Hibbert's side than Coleman's.

In a week where strong right-back play was tough to find, that's enough to elevate Coleman.

CB: Jason Shackell, Burnley

Welcome to the big time, Jason Shackell.

The 31-year-old was a pillar of aerial dominance and strength against Stoke City, beating Mame Biram Diouf to a crucial header in the first half and adopting a "you shall not pass!" mantra.

Without his titanic showing in the box, the Clarets would have relented.

CB: Scott Dann, Crystal Palace

Scott Dann has been performing superbly for Crystal Palace since joining in January, but perhaps this is the game that will ensure people take notice of his rising stock.

As bad as Liverpool were in patches, they did dominate possession too. That meant the Eagles back line needed to maintain perfect concentration, and it was Dann who led from the back and excelled when the time was needed.

LB: Massadio Haidara, Newcastle United

Massadio Haidara is slowly gaining relevance at Newcastle United after a difficult initial 18 months. He's less raw, less risky and just as explosive as he was during his time at AS Nancy.

With Paul Dummett finding a home at centre-back, the left-back slot is open to customers. Haidara's bombarding runs and impressive physical edge—in addition to his improving defensive nous—will have been noted by Alan Pardew here.

CM: Mile Jedinak, Crystal Palace

Mile Jedinak continued his odd, fantastic goalscoring form by netting an absolute pearler from a free-kick against Liverpool.

Throughout the game he was solid and stingy in his usual defensive duties, then sealed the game (3-1) with a wonderful, wonderful curling effort from 25 yards.

CM: Moussa Sissoko, Newcastle United

Moussa Sissoko grabbed the headlines for scoring Newcastle United's winner against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, but his performance was more complete than most will credit him for.

His trademark power runs through the centre caused QPR all sorts of issues, and he gained the home side significant chunks of territory every time his legs started moving.

Five wins in a row for Alan Pardew...

Wing: Yannick Bolasie, Crystal Palace

Yannick Bolasie tore Liverpool to shreds Sunday, grabbing the Man of the Match award in a surprise Crystal Palace victory.

The tricky winger ran right at Javi Manquillo all game and had him pedaling backward in fear. He then switched wings and beat Glen Johnson with ease before teeing up Joe Ledley for the go-ahead goal.

After starring for DR Congo midweek, Bolasie ripped it up here despite an injury concern.

AMC: Oscar, Chelsea

Oscar was in the mood again Saturday, and despite sharing a pitch with Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic, he looked the most creative outlet on the pitch.

His beautiful pass to Diego Costa to open the scoring deserves rapturous applause, and throughout the match he was relentless in working hard to create chances and close down opponents.

Arguably Chelsea's Man of the Match.

Wing: Christian Eriksen, Tottenham Hospur

Christian Eriksen was a busy man at the KC Stadium on Sunday. B/R's Sam Rooke reports:

His pinpoint free-kick crashed back off the inside of Allan McGregor's post for [Harry] Kane to pounce and equalise for Spurs and he revelled in the space that opened up after Gaston Ramirez's red card.

Eriksen had a mixed start to the season and flirted with losing his place but he is now clearly Spurs' finest outfield player and returning to his irrepressible best.

ST: Danny Ings, Burnley

Danny Ings scored just his second and third goals of the Premier League season Saturday. They came within the space of two minutes, and they were enough to take down Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium.

Burnley have now won two in a row, and Sean Dyche's side are no longer bottom of the table. Ings will need to score a fair few more goals to ensure the Clarets don't get relegated, but the good news is he appears to be finding his goalscoring touch.
