Liverpool expect Daniel Sturridge to return to action in January.

Sturridge has not played since August due to a thigh injury.

But after jetting off to California for the next ten days, he is set to return for the January 10 clash at Sunderland.

In fact, Sturridge, 25, could fly back from LA after just a week if his rehab goes well.
