When it comes to playing football, it is very, very difficult to find a way you could ever criticise Lionel Messi.
The same can not be said of the great man's style decisions.
We can live with his outrageous fashion choices: the odd suits and weird tuxedos lend him a certain eccentric charm. But it's something else when the most talented, valuable body part in the sport has this woeful tattoo inked onto it.
Messi's girlfriend, Antonella Roccuzzo, posted this picture on Instagram, showing their son Thiago colouring in the "artwork" now permanently attached to the Barcelona star's left leg.

Judging by the creativity on show in the tattoo - roses, a sword, a football and the number 10 - Thiago may have designed it.
Thiago, by the way, is two years old.
