Police are investigating after a live grenade was reportedly found under Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s house in Sweden.

Officers found the explosive at the PSG striker’s villa in Malmo, and investigations are now taking place to find out how it got there.

Sport Mediaset, which first reported the story, suggested the grenade was placed by animal rights activists after Ibrahimovic courted controversy by killing an elk before Christmas.

No members of Ibrahimovic’s family were thought to be at the house when the grenade was discovered.
