PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has come face to face with himself!

Paris Saint-Germain’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic has come face to face with himself, and not surprisingly the giant striker says he likes what he sees.

Ibrahimovic has been immortalised in wax in Paris’ Musee Grevin alongside 200 other celebrities, including figures such as Napoleon and Gandhi, as well as illustrious footballing predecessors Michel Platini, Thierry Henry, Zinedine Zidane, Pele and Ronaldo.

However, while Ibra admitted he is proud of the final outcome, the Swede also revealed he is a little bit frightened of his own image!

“One year ago the work started, and I am very proud,” said the 33-year-old. “This is as close to the original that you can come.

“So me as a football player, being among all these other profiles and personalities in here is a big thing for me.

“I just play football and when you get something like this, it makes it very special.

“I am becoming afraid of him – I mean myself even!”

And after the unveiling ceremony in the French capital, Ibrahimovic took to social media to express his admiration of sculptor Eric Saint Chaffray’s work.

“I took the opportunity to take a selfie with myself at the Grevin Museum in Paris,” he wrote on his Instagram account IAmZlatanIbrahimovic.

“The one to the right is made of wax and the one to the left is made of steel!”

The Uefa Champions League knockout phase returns on Sky Sports next week, including Shakhtar Donetsk v Bayern Munich on Feb 17 followed by Basel v Porto and Schalke v Real Madrid on Feb 18.
