Wayne Rooney 'Agrees' to Team Up with Steve Austin and Fight Bad News Barrett

We doubt the powers that be will ever let it happen, but Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has agreed to fight at Wrestlemania 31.

Not only that, but Rooney is also going to get "Stone Cold" Steve Austin out of retirement to be on his side in a tag team match against Bad News Barrett and Preston North End striker Kevin Davies. 

The dream matchup was thrashed out on Twitter after Barrett accused Wayne Rooney of diving to win a penalty during United's FA Cup win over Preston on Monday night:

Rooney responded with a proposed match:
