Arsenal are proud of their record of qualifying for the Champions League every year, with Arsene Wenger calling it a ‘big achievement’.

But while the Gunners have no problem getting there, they have big issues getting anywhere near the final – with Tottenham actually getting further than Arsenal in recent years.

Spurs had their last go at Europe’s elite club competition in 2010-2011 – and they ended up reaching the quarter finals. That’s something Arsenal haven’t matched since 2009…

And following their 3-1 last 16 first leg defeat to Monaco, it doesn’t look like they’ll be beating it this year.
