Arsenal are preparing to offload three midfielder this summer

According to the Sun, Abou Diaby, Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta will all leave the Emirates at the end of the season.

The Gunners, who sit third just four points below Manchester City, handed Francis Coquelin a new deal last month.

And according to reports Arsene Wenger is keen to restructure his midfield around the Frenchman.

Wenger has been linked with moves for Geoffrey Kondogbia, Morgan Schneiderlin and Sami Khedira.

Flamini and Diaby are out of contract in the summer but club captain Arteta penned an extension to his deal earlier this season.

The Spaniard last played in November and was under fire for his performances as Arsenal started the season poorly.

However their recent form - with Coquelin in the heart of midfield - has seemingly encouraged Wenger to move on the three players and freshen up his squad.
