In which, during a recent Chinese FA Cup game that we can’t quite pinpoint, we bear witness to a shockingly atrocious piece of “contact anticipation”.
Basically, the attacking player simply waits until he sees the white line of the penalty area go beneath his feet and then just plummets to the deck – despite there not being a defender within four or five feet of him.
And you know what? He only gets the bloody penalty for his troubles…
Horrendous, and this coming just a couple of days after this ridiculous nonsense was given during the Greek third division game between Kalamata and Achaiki…
All completely above board, we’re sure.
Suddenly the standard of Premier League refereeing doesn’t seem so bad, does it?
