Beppe Iachini blamed Palermo for having the “wrong approach” in their defeat to bottom club Parma.
The Sicilians are comfortably mid-table and appear to have become complacent near the end of the season.
“We didn’t start well at all, not really playing for the first 15 minutes,” Coach Iachini told Rai Sport.
“It was the wrong approach and Parma took advantage, converting their chance with the penalty and taking the lead.

“We started to play and created four or five really important chances to equalise, but were unable to find the net.
“We had another few scoring opportunities after the break, but Antonio Mirante did very well in goal.
“We could’ve done more today.”
