Arsenal stars past and present were on the pitch to celebrate Wales’ incredible win over Belgium at Euro 2016.

Aaron Ramsey played a key role for this unfancied Welsh side as they overcame favourites Belgium 3-1 to reach the semi-finals of this summer’s European Championships.

And somewhat surprisingly, the Gunners midfielder was greeted by Robert Pires on the pitch afterwards.

The Frenchman tweeted his congratulations to Ramsey with a picture of the pair hugging on the touchline, showing that the Arsenal connection is strong between them.

Wales will play Portugal next, with Ramsey suspended for the clash, but a Wales v France final is still a possibility this summer – a meeting that would have Arsenal written all over it.
