Chelsea are ready to compete with Manchester United over the signing of Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann, according to reports.

The Daily Telegraph claim that Chelsea have closely monitored the France international, who has admitted that he would consider switching clubs if Diego Simeone left.

United are also keeping tabs on the 25-year-old, who has a €100 million (£84m) release clause, and is reportedly Jose Mourinho’s top target for the transfer window next summer.

Earlier this summer, Chelsea had offers rejected for Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata.
