Leipzig beat Augsburg 2-1 on Friday night to continue their unbeaten start to the Bundesliga season and move up to third in the table.

Emil Forsberg put Ralph Hasenhuttl's men in front in the 11th minute, although the home team's lead lasted just two minutes before Dong-Won Ji levelled.

Yussuf Poulsen restored Leipzig's lead early in the second half and this time they were able to hold onto their advantage to pick up their third win of the season.

With their three draws, that leaves the league newcomers still unbeaten and just three points from the Bundesliga summit, while Augsburg remain in mid-table with seven points from their first six games of the season.
