Alexis Sanchez proved he’s not just unhappy with how things are going at Arsenal following Chile’s 1-0 loss at the hands of Argentina on Thursday evening.

The 28-year-old forward was a doubt ahead of the World Cup qualifier after picking up an ankle injury in the Gunners’ 3-1 defeat to West Brom at the Hawthorns.

However, Sanchez started the much-anticipated Buenos Aires clash and played the full 90 minutes – but a 16th minute penalty from Lionel Messi turned out to the winner.

The Arsenal superstar impressed on the night and was unlucky not to find an equaliser as he hit the crossbar with a free-kick in the 65th minute.

Messi and Co. held on for the victory and Sanchez let loose after the final whistle, showing the same frustration he’s shown over the course of Arsenal’s dismal season.

He almost ripped his shirt off before kicking the turf at the Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti.

Chile next face Venezuela in another crucial qualifying match and Arsene Wenger will just be hoping Sanchez returns from the international break in one piece.
