Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez showed why he won’t be short of suitors if he decides to leave the Gunners this summer with an inspiring performance in Chile’s clash with Venezuela.

The 28-year-old started in his side’s World Cup qualifier in Santiago and put his country ahead with a gorgeous free-kick within four minutes.

The former Barcelona star curled a wonderful effort in from 25 yards to put him level with Chile legend Marcelo Salas on 37 goals for his country.

Sanchez then followed it up with a mesmerising run past five Venezueala defenders to set-up Charles Aranguiz, who slid the ball across for Esteban Paredes to tap home.

The Arsenal star then grabbed an assist when he nodded the ball back across goal for Paredes to score his second of the game and to put Chile 3-0 up.
