Alexis Sanchez still appears to be bitter about Arsenal’s draw with Tottenham nearly a year ago – and the Chilean has reminded Aaron Ramsey of his miss at White Hart Lane.

In a video about his career, Sanchez was speaking about the Gunners’ thrilling 2-2 draw with their north London rivals in March 2016.

Ramsey had put Arsenal in front before Spurs took the lead through a quick-fire double from Toby Alderweireld and Harry Kane.

Sanchez netted the equaliser and Ramsey had a golden chance in injury time to secure three points for Arsenal, but the Welshman’s hesitation allowed Kevin Wimmer to make a superb sliding block.

And the Chilean is keen to remind everyone of Ramsey spurning a huge opportunity.

‘This is a classic match – playing Spurs at White Hart Lane,’ he said.

‘They are our big rivals so scoring a goal there is very special for our fans.

‘We could have won the match as Ramsey had a great opportunity to score but there you go.

‘In the end we had to settle for a draw.’
