Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore wants to stay at the club after his season-long loan at Ajax, but admits he has to hold talks with the club later this summer.

The 21-year-old has shone on loan in the Eredivisie this term, helping Ajax to the Europa League final where their youthful side lost 2-0 to Manchester United.

It remains to be seen if Traore will have done enough to win Antonio Conte over, with Chelsea linked with some big-name signings up front ahead of the transfer window due to doubts over Diego Costa’s future.

Traore hopes to have the situation resolved soon, and has planned talks with Chelsea after going on international duty with Burkina Faso.

‘I will go with the national team and after that take some rest. Then I will go back to Chelsea and have a talk – we will see,’ he said.

‘That’s my hope (to be at Chelsea next season).

‘That was the key when I came to Ajax – play as many (games) as I could, do well, and try to go back to Chelsea.

‘I think I had a great season but I don’t decide to stay at Chelsea or move. I will see what my future will be.’
