Manchester United will inform Adnan Januzaj that he has no future at the club next week, according to reports.

The Times claims that Jose Mourinho does not consider the 22-year-old part of his long-term plans at Old Trafford and feels the Belgian does not have the work-rate required to be a success at the club.

Lyon and Marseille have already registered their interest and the winger is valued between £10 million and £15m.

But United’s will be unable to demand a high price as the player’s contract is due to expire at the end of next season.

Januzaj spent the season on loan with Sunderland but failed to make a significant impact as David Moyes’ side were relegated from the Premier League.

But despite his inconsistency this term, Moyes predicted two weeks ago that United would extend Januzaj’s contract.

‘Adnan’s our best technical player, he’ll have a big future,’ said the former United manager.

‘I just think he’s found it quite difficult here.

‘We were looking for a bit more from Adnan but he’s a really good talent.

‘It wouldn’t surprise me if Manchester United took him back and gave him a new contract.’
