Juan Cuadrado’s agent has dismissed reports that the Colombia star wants to quit Juventus amid speculation Arsenal are readying a bid.

The former Chelsea winger has spent the last 18 months on loan in Turin and signed a permanent deal earlier this month that appeared to suggest he would become a fixture in Max Allegri’s side next season.

But reports claim Juventus are already looking to cash in on the 29-year-old with Arsenal and a clutch of Serie A clubs, incuding big spending AC Milan, said to be interested.

‘Juan doesn’t want to leave Juve and Juve don’t plan to sell him, so all these supposed negotiations have no real basis,’ Alessandro Lucci told GianlucaDiMarzio.

‘That Cuadrado might interest other clubs, I don’t doubt it, but no-one has contacted me directly or started negotiations with Juve.’

Despite Lucci’s claims, Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta dropped a surprise hint earlier this week that his club could be ready to Cuadrado, while a fee of £26 million has been suggested.

‘Some (players) can go,’ he admitted.

‘You have to see the situations of (Mario) Lemina, (Stefano) Sturaro, Cuadrado …’ before adding ‘I (am naming) names at random.’
