Chelsea are reportedly ready to let Loic Remy leave the club on the cheap in this summer’s transfer window as he does not feature in Antonio Conte’s plans.

The 30-year-old striker flopped on loan at Crystal Palace last season, with injury meaning he played just eight games for the Eagles, failing to score a single goal.

Remy hasn’t scored since all the way back in December 2015 and looks highly unlikely to have any role at Stamford Bridge next season as the Blues hope to offload him this summer.

There may not be a huge number of suitors for the Frenchman at present, though one of his old clubs Marseille are said to be looking into a possible reunion with him.

However, for that to happen Remy would likely need to accept a significant pay cut to the reported £80,000 a week he agreed to when he joined Chelsea in 2014.

According to The Sun, Remy is also keen to leave Chelsea after a disappointing three years in west London, playing just 47 games and scoring 12 goals for the club.

Chelsea could make a number of changes up front this summer with star striker Diego Costa looking likely to be on his way out, with Everton’s Romelu Lukaku looking like coming in as his replacement.
