Manchester United have been told that Real Madrid will not consider selling Gareth Bale this summer, according to reports in Spain.

Marca claim that the Spanish champions deem the Wales international as ‘untouchable’ and Madrid’s hierarchy have no doubt that the 27-year-old will remain at the club this summer.

Despite Bale’s injury problems last season, Madrid are fully confident that the forward can get back to his best.

And Madrid’s doctors are still looking into Bale’s long-term calf problem which stopped him from starting in the Champions League final.

Marca also claim that Bale has no intention of leaving Madrid and plans to see out his contract which runs until 2022.

Last week, reports in France claimed that Madrid are willing to offload Bale in order to pave the way for Kylian Mbappe’s arrival from Monaco.

It was reported that Zinedine Zidane and Madrid’s president, Florentino Perez, met with the 18-year-old and promised him that one of their key players will be sold.

But Marca are now claiming that unless an unexpected turn of events occur, Bale will be staying put this summer.
