Arsenal star Hector Bellerin has refused to dismiss speculation linking him with Barcelona this summer but insists he wants to focus on the U21 European Championships with Spain.

The defender is currently on international duty with Spain’s U21s, who are through to the final in Poland to face Germany after beating Italy 3-1 in the semi-finals.

Bellerin, 21, has been heavily linked with a return to the Nou Camp after swapping Barcelona for the Emirates as a 15-year-old.

And the right-back did little to dampen the speculation following Spain’s win on Tuesday night by refusing to dismiss the reports.

‘My future is not important now,’ Bellerin told Cadena Ser.

‘What is important is to help the national team and win this tournament.

‘Now we have to focus on getting the job done.’

Arsene Wenger is determined to keep hold of Bellerin, who signed a new long-term deal with the club in 2016.

Barcelona, though, could prove too difficult to turn down and the La Liga giants have struggled to fill the right-back slot since Dani Alves’ departure in 2016.
