AC Milan have entered the transfer race for Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, reports in Italy claim.

The prolific striker looks certain to depart Germany this summer and was reportedly on the verge of a mega-money move to China.

Liverpool and Arsenal have consistently been linked with Aubameyang in recent years, but it was not until this summer that Dortmund admitted they would entertain offers.

Aubameyang has been virtually unstoppable at Dortmund with 120 goals in 189 appearances for the German giants.

Gazzetta dello Sport claim Milan ‘dream’ of securing Aubameyang’s signature and are considering making their move.

Aubameyang would collect incredible wages in China with the Chinese Super League an attractive destination for players looking to make as much money as possible.

Milan have just announced the signing of former Liverpool striker, Fabio Borini and have already spent big on the likes of Portugal star Andre Silva, Serie A breakout star Franck Kessie, Ricardo Rodriguez and Mateo Musacchio.

Milan will waste no time in moving onto new targets and Aubameyang sits top of their wishlist.

However, the Italians are aware that the lure of Chinese wages may be too much for Aubameyang to turn down.

Milan will also have to match the transfer fee with Tianjin Quanjian reportedly agreeing a £70million deal with Dortmund.

Liverpool have been linked with Aubameyang in recent weeks, although those reports have been consistently debunked and an offer has yet to materialise from Jurgen Klopp’s side.
