Juventus are the latest club looking into signing Monaco winger and top Arsenal transfer target Thomas Lemar this summer, according to reports in Italy.

The France international shone for Ligue 1 champions Monaco last season, contributing 14 goals and 14 assists from the left flank to become one of many big names being eyed by elite European sides this summer.

Juve are possibly hoping to make it a double raid on Leonardo Jardim’s squad, with full-back Djibril Sidibe also being looked at by the Serie A giants, according to Tuttosport.

While Lemar has been reported as being one of Arsenal’s main attacking targets along with Leicester City wide-man Riyad Mahrez, his arrival at Juventus could potentially free up another Gunners target in Juan Cuadrado.

Recent reports have suggested Monaco would want as much as £80million for the 21-year-old attacker, which could be enough to scare clubs off pursuing him for the time being.

Having already lost Bernardo Silva to Manchester City and with Tiemoue Bakayoko looking like heading to Chelsea, Monaco will be desperate to avoid too many more departures in this transfer window.

Kylian Mbappe is also being linked with the likes of Arsenal and Real Madrid, meaning keeping the quality of Lemar up front will surely be essential for Jardim’s plans for next season.

Still, Lemar himself has previously been reported as wanting to link up with Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium as he pushes for an exit.
