Romelu Lukaku has celebrated his transfer to Manchester United with new team-mate Paul Pogba after the club confirmed a deal has been agreed with Everton.

United and Everton have settled on a £75 million fee for the Belgium international, who was also Chelsea’s priority target for the summer window, and his move to Old Trafford is now subject to a medical and personal terms being agreed.

Lukaku is currently on holiday in Los Angeles with Pogba and after the deal was officially announced on Saturday morning, the France international posted a video on Instagram of the pair celebrating together.

Lukaku is due to undergo a medical in Los Angeles and will link up with Jose Mourinho’s side on Sunday when the squad travel to the United States to begin their pre-season tour.

Chelsea were expected to re-sign Lukaku this summer but the Premier League champions did not submit an offer until they matched United’s bid on Friday.

Lukaku is now set to become United’s second signing of the summer after Mourinho secured a deal for Victor Lindelof from Benfica last month.
