Arsenal were humiliated by Chelsea in their pre-season friendly in Beijing.

The Gunners failed to settled from the start as they fell to a one-sided 3-0 defeat - following an unbeaten start to pre-season.

Willian handed the Blues the lead with a fine finish before Michy Batshuayi scored two stunners to complete the victory.

Arsene Wenger named a relatively strong side to face Antonio Conte's side - with Per Mertesacker, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette all starting.

The pre-season tours are always a great chance for big clubs to give youngsters and up-and-coming players a chance and experience.

Cohen Bramall and Ainsley Maitland-Niles have had plenty of minutes on tour and the jury is out on both of them.

Bramall has got great pace which often bailed him out from making mistakes and being caught out of position.

It could be a big season for Bramall because if Kieran Gibbs goes and Nacho Monreal plays in the back three then there will be openings.

Maitland-Niles won the under-20s World Cup with England and looks better in midfield but has played at wing back and in the back three on this tour.

Maybe he needs to go out on loan because he does look short of confidence and far too often he was caught out by Chelsea’s movement and he struggled to cope.
