Alvaro Morata has already met some of his new Chelsea team-mates after bumping into Eden Hazard and Tiemoue Bakayoko at the club’s training ground.

Chelsea’s club record signing was at Cobham to put the finishing touches on his £70 million move from Real Madrid before travelling to Singapore to link up with Antonio Conte’s squad for the remainder of their pre-season tour.

Bakayoko has been training on his own at Cobham after joining from Monaco last weekend as he continues to recover from a knee injury.

Hazard is also sidelined after requiring ankle surgery at the start of June and will miss the start of the new season.

But both players were at Chelsea’s training base to welcome the new arrival as Morata was given a tour of the facilities.
