Diego Costa has revealed the three players who have offered him the most support over his Chelsea exile as the club tell him to return to training immediately.

The Spain international is still in Brazil having refused to return to England after being told he no longer has a future at Chelsea by manager Antonio Conte.

Costa had been told he would need to train with the youth team, something he was unwilling to do.

And now Sky Sports say Chelsea have put their foot down and ordered him to report back and get himself in shape if he wants to secure a move away.

The 28-year-old was fined two weeks wages for staying in Brazil in an effort to force though a move to preferred destination Atletico Madrid, but he insists several high-profile teammates are behind him.

‘You know that the manager doesn’t want me,’ he said in an explosive interview with the Daily Mail.

‘I am waiting for Chelsea to set me free. I didn’t want to leave. I was happy. When the manager does not want you, you have to go.

‘If you were to ask all my teammates, they’d say the same. They send messages saying “I miss you” and that they love me.

‘I am always talking with the boys — particularly Cesc Fabregas, David Luiz and Willian. We have banter over WhatsApp.

‘They ask how I am. They really love me for the person I am. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t be saying they miss me and love me.’
