David Beckham plays down chances of European return

David Beckham admits he is unlikely to play for a European team this season.
The 35-year-old has had two loan spells with AC Milan in the last two seasons following the culmination of the Major League Soccer season in November.
He returned for Los Angeles Galaxy last month after having recovered from the torn Achilles in March that ended hopes of a World Cup place.
Asked about a European return he said: "I don't think so. I'll never say never but I need to focus on my fitness."
Beckham previous loan spells have in part centred around his determination to be part of the England set-up.
After the World Cup England coach Fabio Capello said that Beckham was "too old" to be considered in the future but the Italian has since insisted that the former Manchester United and Real Madrid playmaker had not been ruled out of contention.
Beckham, second on England's list of appearances with 115, 10 behind Peter Shilton, said: "I want to continue to be available to play for England. That's all I can do. I am passionate about playing for my country and I have been for 15 years now.
Asked whether he had played his last game for England, Beckham added: "No, I wouldn't say that.
"But whether it's over or not is not really down to me."
