    Always one of the toughest things to accomplish on a football pitch is a diving header. Should it be scoring or making a fantastic setup, the diving header rarely gets its due for its incredible amount of skill.

    Throughout all of this, the diving header is always remembered as a fantastic piece of skill, and its goals are always shown on highlight reels everywhere.

    With this in mind, here is a list of the 10 greatest diving headers of all time.

No. 10 Duncan Ferguson Vs Manchester United

    In what was Everton's first victory over Manchester United in 10 years, Duncan Ferguson scored in the 55th minute off a free kick from Mikel Arteta for the only goal of the match.

    This win was huge for Everton at the end of the season as they finished with a Champions League spot for the first time in Premier League history.

No. 9 Didier Drogba Vs Manchester City

    In a early 2006 Premier League match against Manchester City, Didier Drogba put the finishing touch on this Premier League match by scoring a brilliant diving header from a cross by Wayne Bridge.

    Chelsea went on to win the Premier League this season.

No. 8 Cristiano Ronaldo Vs Spurs

    In a late Premier League match in 2009, Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo was able to secure a Premier League title with this diving header against Tottenham.

    Ronaldo's goal capped off a great comeback by Manchester United, as they went on to win the Premier League for a third consecutive season.

No. 7 Alan Shearer Vs Bayer Leverkusen

    In the fifth minute of a round of 16 match in the Champions League in 2003, Alan Shearer was able to start up a great win for Newcastle by scoring on a diving header against Bayer Leverkusen.

    Shearer had a hat trick in this match, and Newcastle won 3-1.

No. 6 Kevin Ball Vs Chelsea

    In what turned out to be a deciding goal in a 3-0 win against Chelsea, Kevin Ball was able to score on a fantastic header for Sunderland.

    This loss continued what was a five match winless run for Chelsea.

No. 5 Jared Borgetti Vs Italy

    In a 2002 World Cup group stage match, Jared Borgetti was able to get Mexico a great goal against Italy off a header.

    The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

No. 4 Andrzej Szarmach Vs Peru

    In a Group B match in the 1978 World Cup, Poland were able to register their only win in the group by use of a diving header by Andrzej Szarmach.

    After a steal, Szarmach was fed for the goal that gave Poland the 1-0 win.

No. 3 Graziano Mannari Vs Juventus

    In a 4-0 win by AC Milan over Juventus in 1989, Graziano Mannari scored a fantastic goal for Milan in their blowout victory.

No. 2 Calamity James Saves The Day

    No one ever said that this list is all about scoring goals, and David "Calamity" James proved this in a Premier League match several years ago against Everton.

    After a moment of calamity when trying to clear a ball, James stopped Leon Osman's cross with his head to concede a corner.

No. 1 Keith Houchen (1987 FA Cup Final)

    In the 1987 FA Cup final, Keith Houchen was able to score on a late diving header to bring the match between Coventry City and Tottenham to extra time.

    And thanks in large part to Houchen's actions, Coventry City won their first FA Cup in their 104 year history by a 3-2 score.
