Rafael van der Vaart will miss Tottenham's trip to Bolton on Saturday, and Aaron Lennon is doubtful, as Harry Redknapp attempts to carry the club’s Champions League form into the Premier League.

Tottenham visit Bolton looking for their first win in 10 visits after the 3-1 victory over European champions Inter Milan.

But Van der Vaart, who scored Tottenham’s first goal on Tuesday, failed to emerge for the second half with a recurrence of his hamstring strain and will not train.

Lennon suffered a similar injury in training on Thursday and remains highly doubtful for the game at the Reebok.

Redknapp said: “Van der Vaart is struggling, he’s got a hamstring injury. And Aaron Lennon is struggling, he’s doubtful with a hamstring.

“We are also without Ledley King and Michael Dawson and Jermain Defoe is missing. That’s five not bad players really.”

Redknapp also warned his players to forget the excitement of Tuesday night as Spurs look to consolidate their position in the league.

“What happened on Tuesday has happened and we get ready for tomorrow. Inter Milan is history, a great night but we move on," he said.

“I was in my car driving home an hour after the game and you are thinking about nothing else than how we can get three points on Saturday.

“We’ve really got to finish in the top four. The Champions League is the one to play in. The Europa League is not the same.

“We have to concentrate on our league performance.

“It’s been a difficult place for us to go and I have never had an easy game at the Reebok. The players have to be focussed and make sure we play well.”
