I thought it might be interesting to look at who the most accurate goalscorers in Europe are.
I looked at players in all the major European leagues with a minimum of 20 goals and at least 100 shot attempts in all competitions this year.
Believe it or not, only six guys made the cut. Can you guess who?
Edinson Cavani
At just 24, Cavani's name is not well-known outside Italy.
In fact, he's currently the second-highest goalscorer in Serie A—behind Antonio Di Natale.
So far he's scored 20 goals in 101 shot attempts in all competitions. That's good for an accuracy of just under 20 percent.
Dimitar Berbatov
The Intercontinental is enjoying a resurgence this season at Manchester United.
In the wake of Wayne Rooney's early season injury troubles, Berbatov has taken over.
He's also scored 20 goals in 101 attempts in all competitions—again good for an accuracy of just under 20 percent.
Antonio Di Natale
Di Natale is currently the leading goalscorer in Italy with 24 goals to his name.
The Italian scored those 24 in 120 attempts, which is good for an accuracy of exactly 20 percent.
Coupled with Alexis Sanchez, Udinese has one of the best scoring tandem's in Europe.
Giuseppe Rossi
Linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspurs during the January transfer window, U.S- born Rossi is one of the top goalscorers in Spain.
So far this season, he's scored 25 goals in 125 attempts. That, again, is good for an accuracy of exactly 20 percent.
Rossi's been repeatedly tipped to leave Villareal, but it could finally happen as early as this summer.
Samuel Eto'o
Samuel Eto'o continues to play like one of the best players in Europe, despite turning 30 this year.
Usually in the discussion as one of the best players in the world, he's enjoyed a resurgence under new manager Leonardo after the departure of Jose Mourinho.
His 28 goals in 126 shot attempts across all competitions is good for an incredibly accurate rate of 22 percent.
Lionel Messi
Was there ever any doubt?
King Leo is on top of the world. He's the colossus of world football, the back-to-back World Player of the Year and the best player on the planet.
His 42 goals in 169 attempts is good for an astoundingly accurate rating of 25 percent in all competitions. That's one goal for every four times he strikes the ball at goal.
That's just incredible.
