Former Arsenal defender Nigel Winterburn says the current players have a "massive responsibility" to help Arsene Wenger through a difficult period in the wake of Cesc Fabregas's move to Barcelona.

Winterburn adds that any players Wenger decides to sign have to be right for Arsenal and be strong mentally to help them win trophies.

Fabregas signed a five-year contract with the Spanish champions on Monday in a deal worth a potential £35m to Arsenal.
