Arsenal v Shrewsbury Town

The South Korea striker Park Ju-young, the Japanese forward Ryo Miyaichi and Miyaichi's fellow 18-year-old Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are expected to make their full debuts for Arsenal. Marouane Chamakh, André Santos Emmanuel Frimpong, Carl Jenkinson and Francis Coquelin are also likely to feature. "I will be faithful to our policy but I will try to find a good mixture between youth and experience," Arsène Wenger, the Arsenal manager, said. Shrewsbury's captain, Ian Sharps, and his fellow central defender Shane Cansdell-Sherriff are doubts for the match.

Aston Villa v Bolton

The Aston Villa manager, Alex McLeish, intends to play his strongest available team tonight. But a trio of injuries – the striker Darren Bent (groin), defender Stephen Warnock (hip) and captain Stiliyan Petrov (ankle) – from the 1-1 home draw with Newcastle United may affect his line-up. Bolton's Stuart Holden will make his first appearance since a knee injury in March. The striker Ivan Klasnic is suspended. PA

Blackburn R v Leyton Orient

The midfielder Ryan Lowe could start at right-back having filled in there during Blackburn's win against Arsenal. Morten Gamst Pedersen, who has not played since late August with a hamstring injury, is in contention but David Dunn (calf) and Ryan Nelsen (knee) will not feature. Orient, with Scott Cuthbert suspended, are also likely to be without Stephen Dawson (ankle) and Jamie Cureton (groin). PA

Leeds Utd v Manchester Utd

Michael Owen is set to make his first appearance of the season. Sir Alex Ferguson will make a significant number of changes, Paul Pogba and Will Keane among the youngsters who may be involved. But there could also be places for Mame Biram Diouf, Federico Macheda, Park Ji-sung and Ryan Giggs. The Leeds defender Paddy Kisnorbo is suspended. PA

Nottm Forest v Newcastle Utd

Forest's defender Chris Cohen (knee) joins the midfielders Paul Anderson (hamstring) and George Boateng (ankle) on the sidelines, while Dexter Blackstock and Garath McCleary are long-term absentees. The Newcastle winger Hatem Ben Arfa, who has not made a competitive appearance for the Magpies since a double leg fracture on 3 October, is set to return. PA

Stoke City v Tottenham

Peter Crouch returned to action along with Matthew Etherington (back), Rory Delap (groin) and Marc Wilson (hamstring) in Stoke City's 4-0 defeat at Sunderland. There was a start for the defender Jonathan Woodgate in a side which featured eight changes, and it would be no surprise if Tony Pulis again shuffled his pack ahead of the match with Manchester United on Saturday. William Gallas and Sandro could make their first Spurs appearances of the season after their respective calf and knee injuries this summer. PA

Wolves v Millwall

Wolves will be without their captain, Roger Johnson, who suffered a calf injury during the 3-0 home defeat by Queens Park Rangers on Saturday. The manager, Mick McCarthy, is set to make several changes, with Adlene Guedioura, Nenad Milijas and David Edwards in contention to start. Millwall are set to lose the striker John Marquis for six weeks due to a hernia injury, reports the South London Press.
