Montenegro defender Miodrag Dzudovic has written to UEFA in an attempt to plead for leniency against Wayne Rooney.

The Montenegro defender on the end of Wayne Rooney's petulant kick which saw the striker receive a red card and an automatic three match ban at Euro 2012, has written to Uefa in an attempt to plead for leniency.
Should the FA launch an appeal against Rooney's sending-off, Miodrag Dzudovic has teamed up with Soviet Sport newspaper in sending a direct letter to Uefa president Michel Platini - according to the Daily Mail.
England head coach Fabio Capello has already ruled the Manchester United forward out of the Three Lions' build-up games ahead of the tournament in Poland and Ukraine next summer.
But Rooney could be given a reprieve should an appeal work in his favour.
Emotions
The letter said: "Miodrag would like to underline that he didn't notice any signs of aggression in Rooney's actions.
"In his opinion the England national team player was driven by emotions and it was an act of desperation rather than anger.
"The most important detail we ask to take notice of is Wayne Rooney's apology. He realised his fault and felt guilty. Uefa pay so much attention to 'Fair Play' principles but Wayne's behaviour is the brightest example of fairness.
"It is rare when a player leaves the field blaming no one but himself after being sent off. In our opinion, Wayne Rooney shouldn't be banned even for a single game. We hope to be heard in Uefa."
