And the Tevez saga continues...

Before we dive into the possibility of Carlos Tevez going to Spurs, let's take a look at his club history.

-In 2006, Tevez throws a fit and refuses to play for Corinthians. West Ham go on to sign him.

-In 2007, Tevez, with the help of his agent Kia Joorabchian, throws a fit and gets a two-year loan to Manchester United.

-In 2009, Tevez throws a fit, and Manchester City pick him up.

-In 2011, Tevez throws a fit, and [insert team name] decide to take the gamble.

I see a pattern. Let's hope his new employer, whoever it is, also notices this pattern.

Now, on to Tottenham. Harry Redknapp has publicly stated that he thinks Tevez is a brilliant player and would love to have him. Unfortunately, according to Redknapp via SkySports.com, Spurs don't have the cash to sign him, even on loan.

Okay Spurs fans, all together now, "There is a God."

Given his history and his attitude, I wouldn't touch him with the Eiffel Tower. Eiffel Tower? Hey, why don't PSG buy him? I digress.

Yes, Tevez is a great player. Yes, he can score some downright brilliant goals. But with that comes a big bucket of crazy. Is it really worth it?

It might be worth a loan deal, if Spurs can scrape the cash together, just for a season, have him bang in a load of goals and then let him get disillusioned and move on. It's just par for the Tevez course.

I'm sure Tottenham fans are split on their opinions. No one will really know until February 1st, 2012 when it's all said and done. We will see.
