The race to replace the LA Galaxys David Beckham continues, and Ronaldinho is reported to have thrown his hat into the ring, according to MLS-News.fr.

In the report, the Galaxy have been reported to offer Ronaldinho a $10 million annual salary.

Ronaldinho's long, storied career has seen him play for Grêmio, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, AC Milan and his current club, Flamengo.

This past season, Ronaldinho made 31 appearances for Flamengo, scoring 14 goals along the way. The veteran midfielder described the team's final standing in fourth place of the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A as a sense of accomplishment. With the finish, the Rubro-Negro secured qualification for the First Stage of the 2012 Copa Libertadores.

Flamengo finished the 2011 Serie A season with a 15-7-16 record.

A decorated member of the Brazilian national team, Ronaldinho has recorded 33 goals in 93 appearances for A Selecao.

Ronaldinho has made it clear that he wants to remain with Flamengo. But according to Xinhua News, the club has not paid him in four months, despite being under contract with the club until July 2014.

Other clubs have expressed interest in acquiring the Brazilian's services, including a club from Greece.
