Argentine insistent over Milan

Carlos Tevez has told the Argentine media that his desire remains to sign for AC Milan, despite bids from Inter Milan and Paris Saint Germain. Milan have long been leading the chase to land the want-away striker, who remains AWOL in Argentina as he refuses to return to Manchester City. Tevez's representative Kia Joorabchian held talks with PSG over the weekend, but it appears that the striker remains unmoved. "I see myself only in the red and black shirt, I am hoping for Milan," he is quoted by m24digital in Argentina. The Tevez quotes come on the same day that Milan confirmed that they still wanted the player, despite agreeing a deal for Maxi Lopez - who would be signed only if they failed to agree a deal with Manchester City.

Talks

Joorabchian, who has also held talks with Inter, has confirmed that the only reason he met with PSG was because of their new coach Carlo Ancelotti. "There is still far to go. We are halfway to reach an agreement, but I will not give more details," he said. "For the rest, we are continuing contacts with the other interested clubs [Inter Milan] I have no need to identify because they appear in all the newspapers. "One thing I can tell you: If it were not for Ancelotti being PSG coach, the possibility of Tevez negotiating with the club would not have started. "Carlo is not just one of the best but the best coach in the world."
